There is a special kind of attire which you will have to put on. A wet suit can also do the job, but if you prefer you can wear your usual clothes. Indeed you have to take care, when you fall into the water your clothes don’t weigh you down, hence the need for a wet suit. Free flowing clothes or clothes with loose fitting are not appropriate as they may get in-between the kayak and get tricky if it topples.
