While visiting Brisbane, the Australia Zoo is sure to be on your list of things to see.  Sprawling over 60 acres makes it feel more like a natural habitat than a confined zoo.  It is home to native and exotic animals. Over 1000 of them call it home, and offer many interesting shows.

This zoo also hosts loads of promotional days all throughout the year, even including days where kids can come into the zoo for free.  This zoo is filled with tropical greenery that is host to many incredible designs throughout.  A mix of nature and art you will find some incredible architectural designs including the Tiger Temple which was build to resemble the Angkor War temple in Cambodia and allows you to view tigers and cheetahs underwater.  What an incredible experience! And the Asian Elephants are really spectacular to watch and to feed.  With a deep swimming pool and fountain all their own, watch as they splash around and cool off in the hot summer sun.

The Australia Zoo is a True paradise, and one of the most incredible destinations in the Outback.  It’s great for a relaxing stroll or for hands on animal experiences, whatever your mood may be.  The lush gardens make it a must see destination on any Australian tour.
